Jennifer Hatch
Jennifer Hatch grew up in Wildersville, TN, near Natchez Trace State Park. She studied art at Union University, earning a degree in ceramics in 2020. Since then, she has completed a ceramics internship in Detroit and an art residency in Cedar Rapids, IA, where she taught numerous classes and workshops, and exhibited and sold her work. In October 2024, she returned to Lexington to establish her own studio. Known for her intricate hand carving and signature flame designs, Jennifer specializes in lanterns, berry bowls, tiles, ornaments, and functional pottery.
Janna Lewis
She is both a landscape painter and graphic designer, shaped by her upbringing in a small Mississippi town and her fascination with the visual language of big cities. Her work blends contemporary composition with a traditional color palette, drawing inspiration from artists like Fairfield Porter. She begins with photography, transforms the image into a graphic illustration using Adobe Illustrator, and then translates that illustration into a painting, focusing on bold shapes, interlocking forms, and controlled color rather than fine detail. This process allows the eye to move thoughtfully through the piece while emphasizing the power of simplification. Working across mediums lets her offer the same subject in multiple formats, making fine art more accessible, and her passion for travel continues to fuel this approach as she captures landscapes around the world and transforms them into art back home.
